Crazy Lemon Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) can frozen lemonade, thawed
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil or 2 1/2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 1/4 cup olive oil or 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Method

  1. If you are using fresh basil, slice it into thin strips.
  2. Combine all the listed ingredients together.
  3. To marinate, pour roughly 1/2 of the mixture over 2 pounds of pork chops or chicken breasts, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour but not longer than 2 hours. this leaves the remaining 1/2 of the marinade to use as a basting sauce during cooking.
