Ingredients
- 3 chicken breasts, sliced horizontally 1/4 inch thick
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs

- 1 tablespoon onion powder

Method
- Cut the chicken breasts into slices 1/4 inch thick.
- It works best if the breasts are slightly frozen.
- Mix the Italian breadcrumbs with 2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese.
- Beat the two eggs in a bowl.
- Arrange the crumb mixture and beaten eggs in separate dishes for dipping.
- Dip each chicken piece first into the egg, then coat it thoroughly in the breadcrumb mix.
- To make the sauce, put all the listed sauce ingredients into a saucepan and let it cook on a low heat for about 20 minutes.
- Pour 2 cups of olive oil into a deep fryer and heat it to 350 degrees.
- Avoid letting the oil burn to prevent unpleasant kitchen odours.
- Fry the coated chicken in single layers for 2-3 minutes, then transfer to a dish lined with paper towel.
- Keep the cooked chicken warm while you fry the rest.
