Cheesy Ham Hash Browns Casserole
This hearty casserole combines thawed hash brown potatoes with chopped ham in a rich, creamy sauce made from potato soup and sour cream. It is generously layered with sharp cheddar and finished with a parmesan topping before baking until golden and bubbling. Ingredients
- 1 (2 lb) package frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 (8 ounce) package sliced ham, chopped
- 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of potato soup
- 1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese
Method
- Set your oven to heat to 375 degrees.
- Take a 9 x 13 inch baking pan and grease it lightly.
- Place the thawed potatoes, chopped ham, potato soup, sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese into a large bowl and mix them together thoroughly.
- Distribute the parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the mixture.
- Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 60 minutes, until the sauce is bubbling and the surface has turned a golden brown.
- Take the casserole from the oven and present it while still hot.
