Cheesy Ham and Broccoli Bake
This simple bake is a fantastic way to use up leftover ham. Frozen broccoli florets are combined with the ham in a dish, then covered with a creamy mushroom and cheddar cheese sauce. The mixture is finished with a moistened stuffing topping and baked until thoroughly hot. It's a speedy and satisfying one-dish meal that comes together in about half an hour.
Ingredients
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 (6 ounce) package chicken stove top stuffing mix
- 120 g cooked ham, chopped
- 3 cups frozen broccoli florets, thawed, drained
- 1 (10 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup old cheddar cheese, shredded
Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Pour the hot water over the stuffing mix and stir until it is just moistened, then set it aside.
- Place the chopped ham and thawed broccoli florets into a 13x9-inch baking dish. In a separate bowl, stir together the condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, and shredded cheddar cheese, then pour this mixture over the ham and broccoli.
- Spoon the prepared stuffing mix evenly over the top of the dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the entire bake is heated through.
