Cheesy Garlic Bread

Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian bread, loaf
- 5 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons virgin olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 teaspoon oregano

- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Method
- Turn on your oven's broiler.
- Slice the loaf of Italian bread into pieces that are 1 to 2 inches thick.
- Combine the softened butter, olive oil, crushed garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Apply the garlic butter mixture evenly across the surface of each bread slice.
- Place the prepared slices in a single layer on a medium baking sheet and broil them for 5 minutes, or until they begin to turn golden.

- Take the baking sheet out from under the broiler.
