Cheesy Baked Grits
This rich and creamy American side dish starts with grits cooked in milk and butter on the hob. Seasoned with salt and white pepper, the mixture is blended with Cheddar cheese and more butter before being transferred to a baking dish. A final topping of grated Parmesan cheese creates a golden crust during baking, resulting in a firm, flavourful bake ideal for serving alongside your main course. The recipe yields 12 portions and takes about 85 minutes from start to finish.
