Cauliflower With Marigold Sauce
This recipe presents cauliflower in a new light, topped with a creamy cheddar sauce delicately flavoured with marigold petals. The edible flowers, also known as calendula, impart a subtle, spicy note to the classic cheese sauce. The cauliflower is steamed until just tender before being generously coated. It's a cheerful, flavourful way to enjoy both garden produce and edible blooms, resulting in a distinctive and colourful side dish perfect for sharing.
