Cajun Shrimp Boil
This classic spicy dish features large shrimp boiled with authentic Cajun flavours. Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons dry crab boil seasoning
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 2 ounces hot sauce (Trappey's)
- 1 lb.raw large shrimp (16/20 count)
Method
- Place the water in a pot and bring it to a rolling boil. Stir in the crab boil seasoning, sliced onion, lemon slices and hot sauce.
- Add the raw shrimp to the seasoned boiling liquid.
- Allow the shrimp to cook in the boiling broth until their shells turn a vibrant pink colour.
