Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons dry crab boil seasoning
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 ounces hot sauce (Trappey's)
  • 1 lb.raw large shrimp (16/20 count)

Method

  1. Place the water in a pot and bring it to a rolling boil. Stir in the crab boil seasoning, sliced onion, lemon slices and hot sauce.
  2. Add the raw shrimp to the seasoned boiling liquid.
  3. Allow the shrimp to cook in the boiling broth until their shells turn a vibrant pink colour.
