Broccoli Supreme

Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 7 cups broccoli, chopped (or florets)
- 1 garlic clove, minced (or 1/4 t. garlic powder)
Method
- Combine the water, cornstarch, chicken bouillon powder, sugar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl, stirring them together. Set this mixture aside.
- Place a wok or frying pan over the heat and add the cooking oil. Once hot, add the chopped broccoli and minced garlic. Stir-fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Give the reserved cornstarch mixture a quick stir, then pour it into the pan with the broccoli. Continue cooking, stirring constantly, until the liquid comes to a boil and thickens into a sauce coating the broccoli.
