Blackberry Coulis

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh blackberries, rinsed and drained
- 2 tablespoons sugar, or more to taste
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Method
- Place the blackberries, sugar and lemon juice into a food processor bowl and pulse until the mixture is smooth and the sugar has dissolved, about 15 to 20 seconds.
- Pass the blended blackberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into another bowl, leaving the seeds and solids behind. Cover the strained coulis and keep it chilled in the refrigerator.
