Banana Party Punch

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sugar
  • 6 cups water
  • 6 ripe bananas
  • 1 (46 ounce) can pineapple juice
  • 2 (12 ounce) cans frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed and undiluted
  • 1 (12 ounce) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed and undiluted
  • 2 (2 liter) bottles 7-Up soda

Method

  1. Place the sugar and 6 cups water into a saucepan. Cook while stirring constantly until the sugar has fully dissolved.
  2. Allow the sugar mixture to cool down completely.
  3. Use an electric blender to puree the 6 ripe bananas until they are completely smooth.
  4. In a large freezer container, combine the banana puree, the cooled sugar mixture, the pineapple juice, the thawed orange juice concentrate and the thawed lemonade concentrate.
  5. When ready to serve, let the frozen mixture thaw until it reaches a slushy consistency.
  6. Transfer the slush to a punch bowl and gently stir in the 2 bottles of 7-Up soda.
  7. Serve the punch straight away.
