Banana, Honey and Hazelnut Smoothie
This dairy-free smoothie is a satisfying choice for a snack or a substantial breakfast drink. It combines banana with soya milk, a touch of honey and a hint of warming nutmeg. The mixture is blended until creamy and finished with a topping of chopped hazelnuts for added texture and flavour. It is ready in just 5 minutes and serves two people.
Ingredients
- 1 peeled, sliced banana
- 250ml soya milk
- 1 tsp honey
- a little grated nutmeg
- 2 tsp chopped hazelnuts to serve
Method
- Place the peeled and sliced banana into a blender with the soya milk, honey and a small amount of grated nutmeg.
- Blend all the ingredients together until you achieve a completely smooth consistency.
- Divide the blended smoothie equally between two large serving glasses.
- Finish by sprinkling the toasted, chopped hazelnuts over the top of each glass before serving.
