Asian Roasted Brussels Sprouts
This American side dish features Brussels sprouts roasted until crisp and golden. After roasting, they are quickly sauteed in sesame oil and finished with a savoury glaze of soy and fish sauce. The process takes about 45 minutes and yields four servings, creating a deliciously caramelised and umami-rich accompaniment perfect for dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
Method
- Set your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) to preheat.
- In a bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper until coated. Arrange them in one layer on a sheet pan.
