5-Spice Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons green tea leaves (or 2 bags)
  • 16 ounces water
  • 6 ounces milk (or soy milk)
  • 1 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder

Method

  1. Boil the water in a saucepan.
  2. Put in the tea leaves and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Warm the milk in a microwave-safe container until it steams.
  4. Pour the milk into the tea, add the five spice powder and simmer for 1 minute.
