Four Layer Butterscotch Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 (3 1/2 ounce) boxes butterscotch pudding
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup nuts

Method

  1. Combine the first three ingredients and press the mixture into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 F for 15 minutes.
  2. Blend the next three ingredients together and spread this mixture over the first baked layer.
  3. Whisk the milk, vanilla and butterscotch pudding mix until thickened, then pour this over the second layer.
  4. Spread the whipped cream evenly over the top of the first three layers.
  5. Scatter the remaining nuts over the entire dessert before serving.
