This wonderfully simple recipe for sugar cookies requires only four pantry staples. The cookies bake up light and crisp with a delicate flavour that isn't overly sweet. They come together quickly, making them an ideal choice for a last-minute dessert or a festive baking project. You can expect to make between two and four dozen from a single batch.
Ingredients
- 2 cups margarine
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Method
- Combine the margarine and confectioners' sugar, creaming them together thoroughly.
- Add the vanilla extract and flour to the mixture, stirring until fully incorporated.
