4 Ingredient Chocolate Chip Cookies
These incredibly straightforward chocolate chip cookies require just four basic components. The recipe uses peanut butter, sugar, eggs and chocolate chips for a fuss-free treat. You can easily swap the nut butter or use dairy-free chocolate chips if preferred. The entire process, from mixing to baking, takes only 22 minutes, yielding about 21 delicious cookies.
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter (can substitute any nut butter)
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (can substitute dairy-free chips)
Method
- Set your oven to heat to 350°F.
- Prepare one or two baking trays by lining them with parchment paper.
- Combine all the ingredients, leaving out the chocolate chips, in a mixing bowl using a spoon or electric mixer. Gently stir the chocolate chips into the mixture.
- Place tablespoonfuls of the cookie dough onto your lined tray or trays. Place in the oven for 10-12 minutes until the edges and base turn a golden brown colour. Move the baked cookies to a cooling rack and allow them to cool fully.
