Seasoned Sweet Potato Fries

Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 dash white pepper

Method

  1. Scrub the sweet potatoes thoroughly, keeping the skins intact.
  2. Use a french fry cutter to slice the potatoes into thin strips, or cut them into shoestrings with a knife.
  3. Place the uncooked fries into a mixing bowl and drizzle with the olive oil, tossing to coat evenly.
  4. Sprinkle all the seasonings over the fries and toss again until well combined.
  5. Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake at 400F for 10 minutes.
  6. Use a spatula to turn the fries over and bake for a further 10 minutes.
  7. Pat away any extra oil with paper towels before serving immediately.
