3-Step Pork Chops with Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops, bone-in
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/4 cups milk (1 soup can)
  • 2/3 cup water (1/2 soup can)
  • 1/8-1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or 1/8-1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Brown the bone-in pork chops in the oil, then transfer them to a large baking dish or roaster.
  2. Combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, water, garlic or onion powder, and salt and pepper in a large bowl, then pour this mixture over the pork chops.
  3. Cover the dish and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 to 1 1/2 hrs until the pork is tender.
