3 Spice Fuss Free Fish Fillet Curry

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cubed fish fillets (your fav. fish)
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons canola oil

Method

  1. Warm the canola oil in a suitable pan, such as a cast iron skillet, and cook the chopped onion and garlic.
  2. Continue cooking until the onions start to brown.
  3. Stir in the chopped tomatoes along with the salt, red chilli powder, and turmeric powder.
  4. Cook the mixture, stirring occasionally, until the oil separates and the sauce becomes a vibrant red colour.
  5. Introduce the cubed fish fillets to the pan and stir gently to coat them thoroughly in the spiced sauce.
  6. Pour in approximately 1/2 cup of water, cover the pan, and allow it to cook for 10 minutes.
  7. Your aromatic and effortless fish curry is now ready to serve.
