Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon olive oil or 1 teaspoon melted low-fat butter
- 3 tablespoons milk or 3 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or 1/2 teaspoon coffee
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons self raising flour
Method
- Pour the milk or water into your mug, then add the oil or melted butter and the vanilla flavouring.
- Use a fork to whisk these liquid ingredients together until they are completely smooth.
- Next, incorporate the cocoa powder and the brown sugar into the mug.
- Whisk the mixture once more with the fork until it is smooth and free of lumps.
- Add the self raising flour and mix with the fork until a cohesive dough forms. a small splash of water can be added if it appears too dry.
- Gently press the brownie batter down into the base of the mug to create an even layer.
- Microwave the mug for about 60 seconds in a 1000 watt appliance or for 110 seconds in an 800 watt microwave.
