3 Ingredient Chip Dip
This is a straightforward three ingredient dip prepared in a crock pot, slow cooker or rice cooker. It is very simple to make and yields a tasty result. The recipe can easily be scaled up by increasing the quantities of each component equally. It makes one soup bowl, suitable for three to five people.
Ingredients
- 1 (10 ounce) can Rotel tomatoes & chilies
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 1 lb mild sausage (sage blend is not recommended) or 1 lb spicy sausage (sage blend is not recommended)
Method
- Cut the sausage into chunks and fry until fully cooked. Gently soften the cream cheese using a low microwave setting.
- Transfer the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese and the can of Rotel tomatoes and chilies into your chosen cooker.
- Stir everything together until it is uniformly combined and reaches a consistent temperature. It is then ready to serve.
- You can keep the dip warm in the cooker, but give it a stir if the surface begins to form a crust.
