3 Ingredient Broiled Honey Soy Salmon
This high-protein dish requires only three core ingredients and is ready in about 12 minutes. The method involves broiling a salmon fillet with a sweet and savoury glaze made from honey and soy sauce. It's designed as a single serving but can easily be multiplied to feed a family. Serve it with a side of quick rice for a complete meal.
Ingredients
- 1/2 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 5 ounces salmon fillets
- salt and pepper, if desired
Method
- Turn on your broiler and mix the honey and soy sauce together in a small bowl.
- If using, sprinkle salt and pepper over the salmon fillet, then place it under the broiler for five minutes.
- Spoon the honey-soy mixture over the partially cooked salmon and return it to the broiler for another 2-5 minutes.
- Serve the finished salmon with a portion of microwaveable rice, such as a boil-in-bag variety that cooks in 10 minutes.
