3-Ingredient Biscuits
This straightforward baking recipe requires only three pantry staples to create a batch of 26 soft biscuits. Combining self-raising flour, salt, and Greek yoghurt forms a simple dough that is folded, cut, and baked until perfectly golden. The entire process from mixing to serving takes roughly 25 minutes, resulting in warm, homemade biscuits ideal for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 3 cups self rising flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2 1/3 cups Greek yogurt
Method
- Heat your oven to 450°F.
- Whisk the self rising flour and salt together in a large mixing bowl. Create a well in the centre and add the Greek yoghurt. Use a fork to gradually incorporate the flour into the yoghurt until a sticky dough comes together.
- Lightly flour a work surface and place the dough on it. Fold the dough over itself and gently press it down to a thickness of about ½ inch. Add more flour if needed while folding and turning.
- Coat a 2-inch biscuit cutter in flour and use it to cut shapes from the dough. Arrange the biscuits next to each other on a cake pan or baking sheet.
- Place in the oven and bake for 10-14 minutes, or until the biscuits are a light golden brown colour. Serve while still warm.
