1927 Peanut Butter Bread
This recipe originates from a collection of vintage American magazine recipes. The resulting bread is a simple, lightly sweetened loaf that pairs wonderfully with jam for breakfast. It also makes an excellent base for a jam and banana sandwich. For those with a peanut allergy, alternative nut butters like almond butter can be used as a substitute.
