10 Minute Lasagna
This clever recipe streamlines classic lasagna by using frozen cheese ravioli in place of traditional noodles and sheets. It layers jarred pasta sauce, ravioli, thawed spinach, and a mix of mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. The assembled dish bakes covered, then uncovered until hot and bubbling. It's a versatile base that can be adapted with your favourite additions like mushrooms, olives, or cooked meat. The total preparation and cooking time is just 55 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 (26 ounce) jar pasta sauce
- 1 (30 ounce) bag frozen cheese ravioli
- 1 (10 ounce) box frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 (8 ounce) bag mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Method
- Set your oven to heat to 350°F.
- Prepare a 13-by-9-inch baking dish with cooking spray, then spread one third of the pasta sauce over the base.
- Place 12 ravioli over the sauce, then distribute the squeezed dry spinach on top. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the spinach.
- Add the remaining ravioli for the next layer, then cover them with the rest of the sauce and the remaining cheeses.
- Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for 5 to 10 minutes more, until the contents are bubbly.
